Former CDS Electronics

For Mach Technology Rotterdam, the story begins in 1977, when Fokko and Marja van Duin founded CDS Electronics. The first products developed by CDS Electronics were control systems for greenhouse installations in the Westland region. In 1981, CDS Electronics developed the burner control unit for Nefit’s first high-efficiency (HR) boiler. Over the years, the company created several proprietary products, including the IMC 700 and IMC 2000 series — control systems used by machinery manufacturers. Its customer base gradually expanded.

In 1996, Jan Zagwijn took over CDS Electronics. In addition to its own product lines, the company increasingly developed custom solutions for clients. Since early 2011, Willem Kok has been managing director. In 2012, HEAD Electronics was acquired, followed by MUCO Technologies and Azteco Electronics in 2016, marking the formation of the Mach Technology Group. In early 2020, CDS Electronics relocated to Rotterdam, and in 2021, Azteco joined CDS Electronics at the same site. Since 2024, all companies have been united under the single name.
