R&D Expertise for Innovation and Industrialisation

Amsterdam is our dedicated R&D and development location. Here, a strong team of engineers designs, validates, and industrialises reliable, smart electronics. Our engineering team is multidisciplinary, creative, and technically skilled. Our products are often an intelligent combination of seven core technologies: Connectivity, Power Management, Sensing & Control, Motor Control, Positioning, Embedded Software, and User Interface. The cross-pollination between these different areas of expertise consistently leads to distinctive innovations. From hardware design and layout to embedded software and certification — everything needed to bring your idea to market readiness.

Amsterdam stands for:

  • Faster time-to-market through short innovation cycles
  • Access to in-depth technical expertise
  • A development partner who considers manufacturability from day one

At Mach Technology, product innovation is not a side activity — it’s our core business.

The Electronics Specialist

We combine decades of experience with up-to-date knowledge of the latest technologies and innovations. We consciously focus on applying innovation, Design for Manufacturing (DFM), and Design for Testing (DFT) principles. Much of our work is connected to global trends where technology and electronics converge — such as the energy transition, artificial intelligence, big data, and the Internet of Things (IoT). Electronics also connect the various companies within Mach Technology, each contributing their own area of expertise. This bundling of competencies is crucial for our current clients — and something we aim to offer even more ambitious companies in the future.

History of Former G&M Electronics BV and MUCO Industrie

The foundation of today’s Mach Development lies in Amsterdam. After years of close cooperation between G&M Electronics BV and MUCO Industrie, MUCO Technologies BV was established in 2004. G&M Electronics BV was founded in 1994 by Marcel van Aalst and Gerard van Leeuwen, and MUCO by Peter Leipoldt.

Over the years, many meaningful projects have been carried out for multiple clients — several of whom we still serve today. We’re proud of that legacy. MUCO, together with the development teams of the production sites in Katwijk and Rotterdam, has since merged into Mach Development, the development organisation of Mach Technology.
