History
Mach technology Rotterdam’s history starts in 1977 with the establishment of CDS Electronics by Fokko and Marja van Duin. The first products CDS Electronics develops are control systems for horticultural installations in the Westland. In 1981, CDS Electronics develops the burner control unit of Nefit's first HR central heating boiler. Over the years, several own products have been developed by CDS Electronics. Important product lines are the IMC 700 series and the IMC 2000 series. These control systems are used by machine builders. The customer base has gradually expanded.
In 1996 Jan Zagwijn acquires CDS Electronics. In addition to its own products, more and more specific products were developed for customers. Since the beginning of 2011, the management has been led by Willem Kok. In 2012, HEAD Electronics was acquired. And in 2016, MUCO Technologies and Azteco Electronics were added to the group and Mach technology starts to take shape. At the beginning of 2020, CDS Electronics moved to Rotterdam. At the beginning of 2021, Azteco merged with CDS Electronics in Rotterdam. In 2024, CDS changes its name into Mach technology Rotterdam.
